There are many ways to get involved, both within City Gates and in the wider community. Welcome Team
The Welcome Team greets visitors and helps them feel welcome. If you love meeting new people and sharing the love of Christ, this is a great opportunity to serve.
CG Kids
CG Kids is our children's ministry that supports families in their child's growth in Christ. Serve at the kiosk, as a teacher/teacher assistant, in the nursery, as a special needs buddy, or worship leader.
Braddock Glen Outreach
Serve every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 2-3 PM at Braddock Glen Sunrise Senior Living for mid-week Bible study, offering visits, prayer support, and worship.
Hospitality
Hospitality is all about making people feel loved and welcome, both inside and outside of church events. This ministry is ideal for those who enjoy serving with a heart of kindness and grace in practical ways.
Facilities and Grounds
The Facilities and Grounds helps maintain and beautify the church. If you're handy with tools or passionate about making the church welcoming, this is a great way to serve the church’s upkeep.
Life and Safety Team
Individuals dedicated to the safety and well-being of church members and visitors during special events and weekly services. Join a ministry committed to keeping the church safe.
One Another Care
At The City Gates, we believe in showing care in meaningful ways. This can include helping with moving, visiting the sick, or running errands. Every act of kindness makes a difference.
Meals Ministry
Servants on this team offer practical support and demonstrate Christ's love to families in need. The Meals Ministry is a wonderful way to serve others with a home-cooked meal or by delivering food.
Worship Musician
Musicians, whether vocalists or instrumentalists, contribute to worship services and special events. If you have musical talent and a passion for worship, consider serving the church with your gifts.
Worship Sound/Tech
The Worship Sound/Tech team manages sound, slides, and livestreaming for our services. If you have experience or are eager to learn, join us in creating a distraction-free worship service.
Missions Care
Support the church’s local and global outreach efforts by caring for missionaries and their families. Servants send care packages, provide prayer, and visit missionaries on short-term trips.
