Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to City Gates! When facing the sanctuary doors, look to your left for the CG Kids sign and proceed to the check-in kiosk. We will have a CG Kids team member ready to welcome and assist you with registering your child(ren). You are also welcome to email kids@thecitygateschurch.org with your information before coming, and we will register you in advance.
After you check in, you will get two stickers: one for your child(ren) with their name(s) and one for you with a specific identification number. If we need to contact you during the church service, we will text the phone number in our system.
CG Kids services run for 1.5 hours. The first service is from 9 - 10:30 am, and the second is from 11 am - 12:30 pm. Classroom doors are open 10 minutes before the start of service to receive kids.

Elementary (1st - 6th grade) - Room 114Absolutely! We are a family-worship oriented church that also offers CG Kids as an option for families that would like their child(ren) to attend children's ministry.
You can email CG Kids at kids@thecitygateschurch.org with your information and your Sunday preference for the dedication.
During the registration and check-in process, we prioritize documenting any food allergies to ensure your child's safety and well-being. For younger children in the nursery and Pre-K classrooms, we do provide a veggie straw snack (safe for those with the most common food allergies). Students in the elementary grades do not receive snacks during class time.
If your younger child is unable to have veggie straws, please let us know. Please feel free to send your child with a suitable alternative snack if these are not safe for your child. Thank you so much for your help!
