CGYG February 2026 Monthly Update

Hello Parents and Students,

We are well into 2026 and many teens are still reading and commenting on our 365 day Bible read-through! We are more than 35 days in and have finished Genesis and Job. The teens are asking questions and discussing passages; but, most importantly, reading their Bibles every day! Please pray that many teens finish 2026 having read the entire Bible for the first time in their lives.

We had a shorter, but fantastic retreat where we saw a lot of fun, teens bonding, and one salvation! You can see pictures from this event and more in the resource section, below.

Prayer Partners, you should have received an update and reminder last month. It's a great time to check in on your teen and get updated prayer requests, or just reconnect.

Attention all Juniors and Seniors! We are having our first teen leader collab in 2026 this February! We are planning to have our Student Service Sunday in June and have a lot to discuss! If you are interested in joining us on February 15th, please let me know.  More details, below.

Coming Activities:

February 15: CGYG Leaders Meeting:  Open to Juniors and Seniors. We will meet in Rm 125 from 1-3pm with lunch provided. If you are planning to attend, please let us know in advance, so we can get a headcount for food. If you have allergies, please let us know if you will be bringing your own food.

February 21: CGYG Ladies' Swap: The ladies of CGYG (students and leaders) are invited to the Simons' house from 2-5 for a swap. The details of what a swap is and how it will work are included in the attachment. Please click on the link here to RSVP by 15 February. Mrs. Tiffany already has a lot of clothes, jewelry, and decor piled up for this event!

February 27: Discount Dave & Busters: Come  to the church and enjoy Karaoke, game rooms, Mario Kart, Smash Bros., Wits and Wagers, and much more! This event runs from 6:30-9:00pm

February 28: Equip Evangelism Training Cohort: Equip is designed to teach Christians how to share the Gospel clearly and graciously with family, friends, coworkers, and strangers. it meets every saturday morning from 8:45am-12:00pm from February 28 - March 21. Sign up here!
